Cog labels on ASM's

Well I got the labels in. Rippedsheets did a great job on them, took a couple passes to get them lined up and they came out pretty decent. As I mentioned before the labels are super thin and stick really well. I bent one putting it on and just stuck it to my desk and moved on to the next sticker, when I went to go take it off my desk it took the fake wood paper right off. So the glue seems really good. The chips still stack really great as compared to when i just tried using the regular paper labels they got really slippery and tipsy. Overall I'm pretty pleased with the look and dont look forward to putting them all on. Here are a couple shots of them, just click the pictures for a larger view. You can see how thin they are on the close up of the $25 chip.

Those do look really good! Glad to hear they still stack well.

I'd say let's see some pictures of the chips stacked too, but I don't need to be tempted to get in on the matsui non-edge spot buy.

Just curious, how come you didn't use a smaller $ symbol on the labels?

Nice job Jason. How feasible would samples be? I would even be willing to pay for them just like we pay for all our samples. I only say that because actually touching one would give me a much better idea of the label thickness, etc. Could be a great cheap alternative to the leadtime and headaches of buying customs from pc.com (although they are still in a prime position for the plain chip business).

Those look good. How noticeable are the brass flakes to you? The colors look really rich, and I love the solid stacks (Matsui group-buy here I come), but I'm always wondering what people think of the flakes. There's another thread here where someone is thinking about adding labels to horseheads because of the slightly recessed center. Whaddya think?

Well I have 3 sheets sitting at the house, 2 that have misaligned printing on them and 1 blank sheet. If I got a $1 for a row of 9 labels that would cover the cost of the sheet ($6),a stamp and paypal fee of 3¢. If anyone wants a sample they can paypal a $1 to jasone@verizon.net I will send out the blanks first.

Just be aware that if you ever thought of buying them from rippedsheets they are about $5/sheet of 63 ( I had to pay for the initial drawing of the cog thats why it cost me $6/sheet ) . So they can get rather pricey for a 500 piece set of chips

I dont know the flakes are only noticeable on the sides and really dont stick out unless you are concentrating on them. I had a couple samples of the horsehead and "A" molds and noticed one of them had a recessed center and one did not, cant remember which. But I dont think it was an 1" it was more like 7/8"-15/16". But a label like this (thickness wise) would be perfect for them.

Those look great, much better than the ASM HHs with labels posted in the other topic

And I also agree that the Matsui group buy is extremely tempting...
