The octagon completes your set nicely - not out of place at all! The crooked 10K label is a nice touch also!

Slight issue: Won't the washers and metal plaques chip away at the octagons as they all splash the same pot?

I say keep the 1k metal plaque, buy Egyptians 5k plaques, and come up with a need for 25k gold-colored metal plaques.

The octagon looks fantastic in your set. Unfortunately, the other chips don't, so win some pots so you can scrap the junk and get a full set of Egyptians to match the octagon
