HH mold and custom labels

Hi guys,
I'm getting very close to taking the plunge and buying some ASM horseheads. My question to the educated is this,do the HH mold have a recessed centre that will take a custom label.I just can't justify paying twice the price for the pc.com custom labelling and would like to put some of Jasons labels on instead.I'm in the U.K. so this order is gonna cost me a hell of a lot as it is so hopefully I can cut the costs this way.
Feedback would be very much appreciated.

Derry.

IMO, and I ordered the HH for mine, the inlay on the HH is pressed in and recessed.

After being inserted the chip goes through one more process that textures the whole chip, inlay and all. They looked the best of all the samples I got.

Another thing someone pointed out earlier, we never see a complaint regarding HH molds and customs. That may be because less people use the HH, but it helps me sleep at night waiting for my chips to show up.

Call Cathy or whoever at PC.com and ask for a sample set of HH with thier custom inlays, you'll love them.

Yes they do have a very slightly recessed center - nowhere near as recessed as a blue chip or next gen chip.

Here's a link that has ASM's with custom labels:

I gotta say, that link with the custom labels on the ASM's, they are pretty ugly, IMO.

Anyone interested in this should check out Jason's thread on Cog labels and ASMs...same forum. They look pretty good.
