Husky Aluminum Tool Case
or buy one of these...
800 Chip case: $80 @ Pokerchipsusa 1000 Chip version: $90 @ Pokerchipsusa
I have a few typical racks to help the big stacks move & to help count chips. In transit though the chips are stored in covered chip boxes similar to these. Actually got them somewhere else & paid too much 'cause I thought they'd hold exactly 100 - they ended up holding 104/box . The good news is it gives me an excuse to buy 40 more chips that I might use as non-denoms or bounty chips!
When the chips aren't in the travel case I store them in the 750 Mahogany humidor style case.

great case too...reminds me of a pelican case | That is funny... I'd never seen them before. We could use another set so I'll keep my eye out and let you know if I run across any.
I should bring the case into work & weigh it 'cause it's really heavy! The handle seems pretty stout but I'll have to keep my eye on it. It does have a shoulder strap though but it's thin.

Chips: 474 | | | Very nice,
Do you find the case to be sturdy enough to hold all of those chips? |

The case itself is pretty stout. Quote: |

The other racks are the standard Chipco ones that shipped with the chips. FWIW - I saw where you could buy covers that looked like they'd fit the Chipco racks but they were sold out of them and I decided to go with the covered boxes so I didn't search any further.
Wylecoyo - I'd like to see some pics when you get your setup togther.
