So here's the "final" final design...



Since I had eight (if you count the one covered up by the denom) icons ringing the outside of the chip, I went with eight edgespots.

I actually like this better than the chessboard anyway. I think over time the chessboard one would have gotten on my nerves.

The more I looked at it the more I thought there were way too many spots anyway... I almost suggested reducing them to eight or less because I thought the spots were too busy & too small. I think you'll still get the effect with the final final revision... nice job!
