Custom NJ Desert Sands. Discuss Custom NJ Desert Sands, on ChipTalk.net the place to go for your Poker chips and gambling tips. Read it in Custom Chips General.
i just came across this and im wondering if anyone else here knew about it. NJ lets u fully customize their ceramic chips. i was always assuming they would only let u customize the inlay. but looks like u can customize the whole deal. anyone looking into these customs?
this image comes from their site too. this looks strangely familiar. isnt this a real casino in Denmark or something? funny that they would go to NJ for their chip needs.
btw, turnaround on these are supposidly only 2 weeks, so i guess thats why they get thier business over chipco.
1. what colors can i choose from? the exact colors of the nj desert
sands?
2. will the custom chips come with the marbleized edges?
3. on your website it says: " Basic Design available at lesser rates -
contact for quote " what does this 'basic design' look like?
4. will you provide the mold templates?
THE REPLY
1) they are the 8 colors available with the DS
2) yes the will have the marble edge
3) basic design services are @ $25 per hour. its most if you can not do the art or have a design that needs to be converted to AI or EPS
4) all you need is your center inlay... a 1.125 inch circle.
Thanks for your time and business,
Jim

I think that logo is from the Palais des Congres Casino.
It might however, not be in Montreal as I suspected. I can't find any history to support that the Casino was ever housed in the Convention center, but I can find evidence that there is a Palais des Congres Casino in Bordeaux, France. Anyone know anything else?

I think that logo is from the (closed) Palais des Congres Casino in Montreal. [/img]
Are you sure? Hopefully you have an image, or was the [/img] tag just a tease? I've seen the logo before too, but can't place it.
I'm pretty sure the actual logo wasn't originally used on the NJ chips, probably just reproduced for the mockup.
