Martini: Take two!

Hello everyone,
Here is my second attempt at the “martini club” label design for Nexgen chips. What do you think? Anything you would change or improve upon? I am trying to decide whether or not to keep the black ring around the label. Do you think it will look good to have a black ring on every chip color or would it be best to use a solid white label? I will be using the chips shown below. Any input would be GREATLY appreciated as I am a bit stuck. Also, what is a good chip breakdown for a standard 500 piece chipset for an 8 person home tournament? I will be using denominations of $5, $10, $25, $100. Perhaps a quantity of 150 red, 150 blue, 100 green, 100 black? Thanks in advance for your input!

Looks pretty good. Why not try to match the outer ring to the edgespots? That could look pretty good. Also try contrasting the inner colour with the body colour of the chip.

Did you standardize the font more, it looks like it, but I still don't know if I like how it flows together.

I also kinda like the idea someone else gave of matching the outer ring to the edge spot color...

Personally, I'd remove the black ring and stick with a plain white inlay.

Also, I'd use the term "card room", which has imho more class than "game room", unless you're playing something else than poker with those chips.

There's
TOO MUCH
text on
That Chip
$100

I would highlight the martini glass and lose some text -- maybe drop the "and Game Room."

Also, you've got to incorporate an olive! How can this chip design not have an olive in the glass?

I would go with the color ring, unless changing the graphic requires more space out to the edge.

Have fun with this one!

I agree.

The basic idea is very good, but an olive would be cool.

Looking good,
Maybe get rid of the black ring [smilie=huh.gif]
You might try to give the glass a glowing outling, kind of like a neon glow [smilie=cool.gif]

I second the notion that there's just TOO much text on the inlay, looks very cluttered. The overall theme and design is great though. Tighten it up and you'll have a fantastic looking chip.

i think that an olive is necessary. its just that simple. also, there is too much text on the chip, take some off, and make the martini glass more defined. just my opinions and ideas...
