Chips: 39,043 | | | Great idea and design. I would suggest a better graphic for the chess pieces. A photograph would be best. This is Chipco man, might as well put the best you can on them. | | Sponsored Links | |

Also, for the edgespots:
Is there a font with the chess symbols (like you use on the perimter of the top)? Maybe you could use the chess symbols on the edgespots, instead on the denom value. That ways the edgespots would be consistent for the non-denom chip.
Also, I like sets that have a different number of edgespots for different denoms, with more edgespots for higher denoms.

I agreed with that sentiment and having the denoms appeal to me a great deal. I may have to add something to the NV chip though, like "checkmate" just to make them uniform.
Appreciate the comments, though. Keep 'em coming. | The edge spots will not look like clays, but some great chipco edge spot designs have been done. I think the Crystal Oyster line and the Suits both are great examples of chipco style edge spots. If you are curious as to what they will look like on the finished product check out buypokerchips.com chipco's. They have denoms on the rolling edge. You may even want to get samples so you can see what it looks like. You have to remember that the print is very small. Good luck. |

Chips: 9,392 | | | This is cool. I wouldn't go with a photo - I think clean graphics like this look better - less "cheesy"
Def needs to be a king on its side. All it needs is a cross on the top to make it a king.
I like the idea of the pieces on the sides- to match the graphics on the outer ring.
This is a classy, unique design. Good luck and be sure to post pics when you get them.

L | Something like this?
I broke out my House of Staunton set and snapped this pic. I'll send this pic over to Patrick to give him something to model a graphic from. I think the graphic on the chip now could be nicer so I'd like to see something closer to the pieces that I have.

Chips: 1,861 | | | Photoshop filters can do amazing things with photographs, I don't know if illustrator can make it a vector art after that though.

hk | I give them an A. Frankly, I have zero complaints with the support they've given me. My initial sketch was turned into the first revision. I decided that the idea that I had was crap and immediately began making changes. Patrick has also pitched in and made many helpful suggestions about layout and color choices. It's been a very good experience.
Hope that helps.
