I wanted to do a Celtic knot themed chip and I started some work on it. With the Pharaoh’s Club Paulson’s coming out I will not have the money to do it. I love the idea of a Celtic knot themed chipset. I was thinking this would have to be done on a Chipco style chip. I have some rough mockups if anyone is interested. They are nothing spectacular.

The one I was thinking of doing was a celtic knot based set of suits.

I pilfered the design from this site:

Here is what I have done with my Celtic design to date. I do not know if I will try and tweak it any more since I probably will not be ordering a set.

Hmmm, the faces of the 4 Horsemen are kind of covered up in that picture.

Here's one that's a little clearer:

thanks bubbafry for the 4 Horseman support. Wrestling hasn't been the same since.

Back to the chip ideas.

I wish I could take credit for the following idea, but I saw it on another board some time ago, and have been fond of it ever since.

US Currency theme. In other words put the face of the individual on US currency on the corresponding chip.

$1 - Washington
$5 - Lincoln
$10 - Hamilton
$25 - Jackson (I know he's on the $20, but I've very rarely seen $20 chips)
$50 - Grant
$100 - Franklin
$500 - McKinley
$1000 - Cleveland
$5000 - Madison
$10,000 - Chase
$100,000 - Wilson

Obviously you wouldn't need all of these for a set, but it still seems like a great idea for a custom set.

Of course. However if you are printing your own labels for home use you could do it. No commercial chipmaker would make you a custom set.

Great idea. Would you make all of the chips green?

American Set

How about an American or Americana set?

Red white and blue in the center graphic and edge spots. Possibly incorporate American icon structures or statues. Statue of Liberty. Mount Rushmore. Lincoln Memorial. Washington Memorial. WTC. What else?
