I'd love to see that.

off the top of my head:

Superheroes (super villains?)

Lord of the Rings.

Airplanes (I fly RC planes) - Fokker Triplane/Sopwith Camel, P-51/Zero, Corsair, F-14 Tomcat, Stealth Bomber (or you could do all civilian aircraft)

Anything old west: Such-and-such's Brothel and Poker House . . .

James Bond: Q, M, Leiter, Bond or the bad guys, or bond girls

Whatever works for you.

I have been thinking about trying a cigar label design or a WWII pin up girl/nose art theme.

another fun idea would be a practical joke theme...all those stupid things they use to sell in the backs of comic books...chattering teeth, fake vomit, whoopie cushion, joy buzzers...some crisp pics of those on chips would make for a pretty fun set

I I am currently working on a chess theme (my other "hobby" outside poker). Here's a bunch of ideas that I thought would be viable:

Chess - A different piece on each chip
NASCAR - imagine all the crazy chip denominations!
Shana Hiatt pics - just because :P
Lord of the Rings - I raise you 2 Hobbits and a Gollum
Star Wars - The force is with my hole cards
Armed Forces - Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines, Coast Guard
Beer Brands - the $25 Heineken green with the red and white edgespots would look good
The Matrix - Obviously Neo is on the One dollar chip

I like this logo... would be cool if the denoms could be changed in the glass for a set... might not look good for denoms over 500 and/or might not work for having a currency but I really like the logo/idea...

here are some examples of the wild west chips.
http://www.hardrockchips.com/1legends.htm

I started making some mockups for a custom set once. i went from a cartoony "busted nuts cardroom" chip to a somewhat simple/classy looking "Leonard's" chip (that's my last name)
