Teddy KGB pokerchips.com chips

I wanted to make a set of custom chips from pokerchips.com using the same color scheme as the Teddy KGB chips in Rounders, just with a different label.

Does anyone know the exact body color and edgespot color combo's used on these chips? Any help is much appreciated!

There was a post a few weeks ago on te TH-P board where someone had created a label document with all the denominations and the bear logo just like the actual chips. If you have any interest you could print out labels.....not sure if you want to do that on custom clays or not. Anyway, this site is down right now, bt you could check it later if you have any interest.

Yea I saw all that. I don't really want the Bear label though, and I don't think that ASM will make the chips anyway (unless they will since there arent 4 edgespots). I just really like the colors they use, especially the black chip with green edge spots. I think that chip looks fantastic.

Anyone really have preference between the Roman mold and the Horsehead mold? I have a sample of the Horsehead mold and don't know how I feel about it. I'm still trying to get a Roman mold sample.

The Roman and Horsehead molds are both VERY nice molds in my opinion. If I were forced to decide, I would probably order the Horsehead mold. Very classy.

AcePokerChipCompany.com remade the KGB Bear chips. TR King manufactured them and they are supposed to be out any time now. You can see some pictures of those when they arrive, probably on this forum.

Yea I saw those from AcePokerChipCompany. I just find it impossible to order chips without getting samples first, or at least seeing proofs of the complete set. Unfortunately that will cost me on price if I do decide to go with them

The Horsehead mold's my favorite, with the A mold a close second. I really don't care for the Roman mold personally.

Yea I was really impressed with the A-Mold! The Horsehead mold on a brand new chip just looks... I don't know, funny to me. I have an old chip from The Riviera with the Horsehead mold and its broken in nicely, and it looks great.

One thing is for sure though, the Horsehead mold has a much better feel than the A-Mold. Hopefully I'll be able to find a Roman mold sample soon enough!

Colours

I posted the combos with photos over at THP which seems to be down right now.

I'll tell you this, I've played with the actual chips and I am still not certain what the actual PC colours are! I would ask them. Variations in displays make it impossible to say for certain.

With regards to the above combos here is my take:
White/Dayglo Pink
Red/Dayglo Yellow (Mandarin Red/Yellow)
Green/Dayglo Peach (Green/Orange)
Black/Dayglo Green
Purple/Arc Yellow

YMMV

Rob

I'm not 100% certain whether the $5 chip is Red or Mandarin Red, but I am positive about the $25 chip being Green/Dayglo Peach.

Orange is a dullish rust color. And dayglo colors don't have the brass dust, so there's no way the edge spots on the green chip is orange.

EDIT: For the same reasons, I am sure the edge spot color on the $5 is Dayglo yellow. Standard yellow is a more mustard color, and again has brass flakes.
