Thanks DEEJAY, it has really been fun working on them. I may go back to the original mold or some reasonable facsimile there of, what do you guys think, words or no words on the mold?? Also there are eight chips shown, the Quote from ott was for seven, if I were to lose a color which color would you guys prefer to lose? Oh and ott how are the edge spots configured from Matsui, three colors in three spots or two colors in three spots or what, does Matsui allow for differnt spot design like the ones shown or are they like Paulson and all the same except for color? Do you have a Matsui clay chip sample? If not have you seen or handled any?

I believe it's 2 colors in 3 spots or 3 colors in 3 spots. I need to confirm if they can do 2 colors in 4 spots or not or other spot configurations.

I have 3 Matsui clay samples. The ones that they send people are very pastelish. But they do have 42 colors available. I've handled them and they seem like very good clays. They are different from Paulsons but every other clay chips including ones from Blue Chips are too.

Ask Ten about how the Matsui clays are.

As for words in the mold, I would say leave them out. Use the pinup girls in reverse configuration like Paulson. Reverse every 4th one.

As for having 8 chips, the extra artwork fees only increases per chip price by $0.005 (half of one cent) for a 50,000 chip order. Having 14 different chips would bring per chip price to $0.87 for a 50,000 chip order (3 spot colors in 3 spots). All prices are excluding freight charges. I haven't gotten a quote back for freight for a 50K chip order. Whatever that may be, I think we can get per chip price to under a buck a chip for custom mold clays. You can't really beat that.

I forgot about the graphics licensing fees. That will have to be figured out also.

Pretty nice, they kind of look like Paulson Dunes with JB colours at a quick glance.

I wonder how many group buys start like this? Somone posts their idea and it is such a good one that everyone has to have a set.
