New .25 chip design

"Real Clay", a timeless design, nice weight, classic mold.

it's a little small, compared to most other chips. it has a ringing sound, and doesn't stack/shuffle very well. but it does look classic, i'll give it that.

Question about customization

Lumpy,

Hey, I think your design for the face side looks great. I'm hoping others would think it would be good to offer different designs on the back. I happen to like the idea of having different representations of various states. I live in Virginia and would really like a chip that had a custom "Virginia" back. Maybe those in Texas would like the Lone Star state represented.

Anyone have any good "art" we could use as a model for this?

I think that this would take away from it's "classic look." My vote is for the traditional eagle. If you go with this states thing, I might have to pull out of the group buy.

I don't like the date on it. It kinda of "ties it down." Plus, since it's a face value chip, they can "walk away" from your game pretty easily...

One good thing: You can sell it back at face value (for now).

Collector's version

Oooohhh,

I just came across a vintage set of these beauties made back in 1976. For the historically challenged, that's when the USA had its bicentennial. They have a special commemorative back with a patriotic theme.

I bet these babies will sell for big money someday! Maybe as much as 26 cents a "chip"! Get 'em while they last.
