I agree 100%. I really dislike Chipco designs that try to mimic a clay chip. It's nice to be different too.

How about making the diamonds black, with the boxes surrounding the diamonds a contrasting color to the base of the chip? For example: Green chip, orange or pink boxes with black diamonds. Red chip with blue or yellow boxes and black diamonds.
Or maybe you could go with different hues of reds, purples and yellows for edge spot colors to mimic different wines.

BTW, I definitely perfer the two sided design. And I like the colored wine bottles vs. just black.
