Whatever the material is that these are made out of I'm pretty sure that they've been proven too brittle to handle a hotstamp. You can talk to SOK but I'm pretty sure Joe himself ruled this out when they were first produced.

My answer is I have no idea. Never handled one of these chips or did any sort of testing. If someone has a couple extras they would like to send me for the sake of science that is fine by me. PM me.

I have a few red spotted blanks for which I never received my labels (tisk tisk joe), so when I get paid in a few days I'll send some over for research. I'm trying not to get my hopes up, but $.20 for some nice pink and brown hotstamped solids...mmm
No, the PI chips will not take a hot stamp. I tried stamping them several ways a few months back and they would either not take it or crack under the pressure.
