How much money would you need to put up to create a custom Paulson set?

I've seen members mention that they won't talk to you unless you want to order 100,000 chips, is that the minimum? Is that how many small casinos have to order from Paulson? How much money do they want for those chips? Do they only deal with casinos and card rooms? If someone with deep pockets wanted to just make a set, would Paulson deal with them?

I'm sure this can't be the first time this has been brought up. Has this community ever tried to put together the funds to make a custom Paulson set? What happened?

It seems to me like with the amount of money changing hands for PNY's, Ritz's, etc. The board could probably raise around $50k from ~20 or so willing members. Would that even be close for Paulson to start talking?

Re: How much money would you need to put up to create a custom Paulson set?

Do a search before everyone gets their hopes up. Its not the first time, or the second time, etc etc. We've gone over it and over it before. $50K is NOTHING to them, even retailers have to spend about twice that for existing colors & patterns. Casinos spend far more than that. You need a casino license or involved to get anything close to customs. Read the sin city showdown chips thread.

Call Paulson and ask for Jean LeMonde - he'll hook you up.

ROFL.

He's a very nice man.

Don't phone them - that will get us all in hot water with GPI again. We don't need that.

Re: How much money would you need to put up to create a custom Paulson set?

the amount of money it would take to do this = the amount of money necessary to open a card room.

aint no thing. 10 million maybe, after greasing local politicians, getting an indian tribe on board, buying property, building it out, et cetera. it can be done.

Re: How much money would you need to put up to create a custom Paulson set?

About $250K. You are in luck. A casino is for sale in Roy, WA. Already established. $100K down and you got it:

Historic Landmark,Restaurant, Lounge, Mini Casino Business

Maybe GPI will sell to a dealer school. Only $75K:

Gaming Academy for sale

You don't need a Gajillion dollars though so that is the good news.
