Opinions on lightweight & heavyweight BCC's

Basically, what are peoples thoughts on the lightweight vs. heavyweight chips from BCC? Is it worth the extra $0.05/chip? At what point is it not worth it to you???

My thought is that an extra $0.05/chip is alright, still pushing it in my opinion for nothing different about the chip but an extra gram of weight. Much more than that per chip though seems unnecessary to pay...What say the masses???

Agreed. The extra heft does make a big difference.

Huge increase in performance for just a nickel/chip!

Compare Proteges to InPlay (which are on the same mold) and you'll immediately notice the difference. Or Samurais to Mardi Gras Clays. Or ... well, you get the picture. Definitely go heavy weight; it's well worth it! If you go with light, I almost guarantee you'll regret it later.

man...that's what I was afraid of...there's some lighter weight BCC's I might be able to get for about $0.40 - $0.50 less than pretty much the same chips just in heavyweight. Wasn't sure if it would be something that would be that big of a deal or not...

Why not get some samples of both and decide for yourself? It's all a matter of personal preference.

Try either the fan of cards or vineyard commems. They're easy to find.

I actually have a sample of the Bonds & royal classics. I definitely feel like the royal classics (heavyweight) are more substantial and feel better when stacking & shuffling, and although I can tell and would prefer the heavyweight, there's not too drastic of a difference.

I'm just wondering if this is like buying a nice cheap set of chips instead of saving for a set of high end chips that you will be happier with in the long run...

does anyone know if the casinos use BCC's heavyweight or lightweight chips? Poker Super Stars chips come to mind...

Re: Opinions on lightweight & heavyweight BCC's

You can have "chips" or you can have "chips"

Two sample sets with delivery.......oh let's say $15-$25. For the .05 difference per chip, that is equal to about 300-500 chips at the heavyweight price. No brainer! Get the heavyweights.
