Chips: 427 | | | Custom Theme Ideas (for fun) I student in my class gave her presentation today on tattoos, and two of the kinds of tattoos that she discussed--old sailor tattoos and war veterans tattoos--got me thinking that that would make an interesting design for a poker chip theme.
So I was wondering what cool ideas others might have for a custom chip theme.

Chips: 404 | | | Re: Custom Theme Ideas (for fun) I'm from Colorado. I think a set involving the state's symbols (Columbine is the state flower and Rainbow Trout used to be the state fish, for example) as well as major attractions (Pikes Peak, Red Rocks, skiing, gold & silver mining, etc.) would be nice. Plus, the subject of each chip would pretty much decide what colors to use on their own (A Columbine chip would be white, gold/yellow, & purple/blue). This would work for basically any geographical region.
Also, local sports team sets are neat (again, the team colors lend themselves to the chip colors easily, but the team logos might get messy in the legal department if you ever chose to sell the set). |

Black inlays, graphics in gold-coloured ink - marionette strings + your card room / casino name. And it would have to be on the HHR mold... Seems appropriate to me. Seems like a match made in heaven.

$25 Monument Circle (Downtown)
$100 TBD
$500 Indianapolis Motor Speedway "Indy 500"
$1000 Lucus Stadium (New home to the Indianapolis Colts this season)
$5000 Plauque - Night time shot of the lit up Indianapolis Skyline
Was considering using Conseco Fieldhouse (Home of the Indiana Pacers) but it would have to be a NCV chip.... |
