I am contemplating what to do with some Faux clays and have been looking at posts that used stazon ink.
For anyone who has used it, do you think this would turn out:
I was thinking about making a stamp the shape of the white inlay on the $5 Dunes commemorative chip. I could stamp my faux clay with this using opaque white or buttercream. Then have an other stamp with an simple logo and denomination to stamp on top of this.
The pros: I could come up with several inlay shape stamps and use different colors if I chose. (although I would lean toward sticking with white on all the inlays) . It might be easier to use the translucent stazon, which comes in more colors, over the white ink compared to stamping directly on the chip. (some posts suggest the translucent makes sharper lines).
Cons: would the opaque stamped inlay really look nice, or would it look too thin/washed out? Would the lines be sharp enough? would the second stamp, with the denomination work okay on top of the inlay ink?
