Chips: 13 | | | Getting started with custom chips Hey everyone I just found these forums a couple hours ago while I was browsing 2p2 cause Full Tilt is down as a lot of you know . I want to get my own nice chip set going but I'm a little overwhelmed with the 100000000's of choices and sites out there so I hoping for some suggestions in the cutsom chip department. From what I've read so far is seems ASM is a popular choice but I'm still a little unsure of exactly what ASM is, is it just pokerchips.com's custom chips? Also how extensive can you get with the logo and what're the costs? |

You can do anything you want to the logo sans explitives and trademarked material. The costs range depending on what kind of edgespots you want. Solid chips with no edgespots are .90 apiece, then the spotted chips are 1.30, 1.45, or 1.60 apiece depending on the complexity. |

Blue Chip is another choice for custom clays.
You can also do custom ceramics through Home Poker Chips (Chipco), or through some of the vendors here (ABC Gifts and Awards, Palm Imports, BR Pro).
You can also buy cheaper chips and have them labeled or hotstamped but it sounds like you are looking for some good chips. For custom clays, I believe the only options are ASM and Blue Chip right now. |

Another question are edge spots considered the solid 3 different colors on the edge of the chip, or how some chips have littles specs on the sides? I really liked those Black Sands Casino ASM one that where posted by AcesFull. |

Chips: 13 | | | Re: Getting started with custom chips Ah ya those are the brass flakes I'm thinking of then. How long from Design -> Order -> Ship does ASM usually take? Are T-Molds on BCC just the plain chips with no edge spots?

t-molds are made by blue chip, they are solids except michael is working on making some t-molds with edgespots that can take a custom inlay http://www.chiptalk.net/forum/holdem...-comments.html

I have found that the chiptalk.net members are extremely knowledgeable and willing to assist. The most important thing I have picked up in regards to customs chip purchases is to do a lot of home work and don't just impulse buy custom clays (or ceramics). These are relatively expensive and will be in your possession for a good long while. I have been considering custom chips for quite a while and I have collected tons of samples.
Make sure you get what you want...although, many in this forum have made sure they have ordered what they wanted, only to find that an addiction to pokerchips is what is found at the bottom of those UPS boxes
enjoy.

Of course sometimes they take more or less time, but I would say that, without a hiccup in the manufacturing process, you are looking at 8-12 weeks. | | Thread Tools | Search this Thread | | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
