Chips: 30 | | | Couple Questions about the Chip Factory I have been messing around with the Chip Factory here for 4 days now, and I have some important questions that will determine where I go from here regarding my custom set of chips.
I notice that there are company tabs for colors, molds, and edge spots. And I know that HPC will allow you to use the T-mold on BCC chips for a .15 charge per chip. What I want to know is mainly about colors and edge spotting. Are the colors and edge spots listed under each companies tab exclusive to THAT particular company? I know you can make a "fantasy" chip set by mixing and matching, and can pretty much make whatever you want.....
But I want a custom chip set the way I want it, and I need to know if I am allowed to use a ASM mold w/ colors from the BCC pallet and edge spots from another one of the companies (example only).
Maybe this is a stupid question, but I really like a lot of the colors and edge spots of BCC, but I was told you can only use certain colors of either with the T-mold (which I also like a lot). If that is the case, I would have to revert to the flame mold for my chips, but that mold doesn't appeal to me at all, which means I would have to switch a different companies colors, which I don't really want to do.......
See the reason for the question?
Edit:
And I might just be computer retarded, but for some reason I can't save my chips once I make them, and its getting really frustrating!!! Anyone care to PM me with a crash course on how to operate the Chip Factory tool? The instructions just aren't detailed enough...
Thanks! |

As for T-molds, the only way to get a customs set, is to go through the TMSC set that Holdempokerchips is offering. There are no options for complete customs on that mold. Ever. |

I don't mind using ASM's American or Roman mold. But then it comes down to colors and inserts. There are WAY more options in the BCC colors and edge spots sections...... would those be available on ASM chips? Or just BCC? Cause I don't like the look of the flame mold at all, and would hate to have to be stuck with it if I want the color scheme and edge spots that I do... |

The Flame mold is BCC's only open mold, the rest are privately owned.
T-mold - HPC
Lg Key - PokerStore
Cigar & Snifter - SidePot
There are a few others, but no others are available for customs as far as I'm aware. With the privately owned molds, you are limited to the color combinations they allow you. |

For instance can I get mustang doors on my camaro? Nope

Looks similar to the T-mold from HPC. I would be fine with using the LKEY mold, so it looks like I will get the colors I want with a decent mold afterall! |

Its the same as the T-Mold for all intents & purposes. If you want BCC customs, its the flame mold period.
