Chips: 271 | | | T-mold Hot Stamp Cash set colors...HELP! Alright, so I'm trying to get myself prepared for the TMSC chips and am going to be putting a custom hot stamp on some t-mold solids for a secondary tourney & cash set.
I need some help on the colors that I'm having a hard time deciding on. Right now, I have: USPC SET:
Dark Green - T25
Charcoal - T100
Lavender - T500
Arc Yellow - T1000
Grey - T5000
I don't want to do the divide by 100 thing, however, I'm thinking that the T25 will double as the .25 chip since at least it will just say "25" on it. This way, when we're playing our cash game I can just say it is 25 cents. I don't like having to say that the 100 is actually $1.
So, what I need help with is choosing a good .05, possibly .10, $1, & $5 chip for the cash set.
We usually play a $5 - $10 buy-in .05/.10 NL with static blinds, but I would like to be able to accomodate a $20 buy-in .25/.50 NL game as well. I'm really not to picky about having a .10 chip...actually prefer just having .05, .25, 1, & 5.
So, what would you choose?
.05 - ?
(.10 - ?)
.25 - Dark Green
1 - ?
5 - ? |

T5 / $0.05 Royal Red
T25/ $0.25 Dark Green
$1 Horizon Blue
$5 Canary Yellow
$20 Chocolate
No need for 10 cent chips. Just get more Nickels. I really like the Royal Red in the T-Molds. Plus it will fit in nice with the Dark Green and Horizon Blue.
How the Hotstamp design coming? Let me know if I can help out. |

Any other ideas for the .05 chip? I have a royal red sample chip, and it is not bad but I also was hoping to stay away from red as it is not one of my favorites.
What do you think about making the .05 chip either:
- hot pink
- sherbert
- chocolate
???
Anyone else? |

I would use the imperial blue in place of the gray,
then use either almond or plum for the nickle
If the gray must stay then use the imp. blue for the nickle. |

I'd say stick with 5 denoms of T-mold solids, and invest the rest in more TMSC's...
What colours of TMSC's are you going to get? That might help determine a complimentary T-mold solid set.
(also, never heard of "imperial blue" as a BCC colour; "horizon" maybe?) |

well then...
I better start over, I like to have groups of four chips look good,
If your going to have a dedicated set from 5 cents to $5000
you'll be using lots of colors so I think the best you could hope for is having four/five connected colors work well.
So... 5¢ Pink 25¢ Imperial Blue $1 Mustard [alt. Canary Yellow] $5 Plum $25 Dark Green $100 Charcoal [alt. Chocolate] $500 Lavendar $1000 Arc Yellow $5000 Gray this setup has the colors in groups of three first group brights (esp. if you go with the alternate) then dark and earthy lastly back to brights the mustard choice makes a smoother transition to the darker colors.

*EDIT* I think I get it now. You already have a T25, T100, T500, T1000, T5000, and are looking to get a 5¢, 10¢, $1, and $5, while using the T25 as 25¢.
OK. Well, given your tourney set colours... maybe go with:
hot pink 5¢
horizon blue 10¢
dark green 25¢
white $1
plum $5
unless you're opposed to a white $1... in which case, go horizon blue for $1 and make the 10¢ chocolate maybe? |

Chips: 29 | | | Re: T-mold Hot Stamp Cash set colors...HELP! You know i was thinking more about this set. Why not just get some sort of NCV chip to act as either a $0.05 or $0.10 chip depending on the game. A NCV could also sub for a $0.50 chip if needed too in a $0.50/ $1.00 game. Just food for thought. Might save you a lot of $$$ too. The down fall is less Chips I know. I know. | | Thread Tools | Search this Thread | | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
