Chips: 385 | | | Is a custom ASM pattern possible? Is anyone familiar enough with ASM manufacturing to know if a custom edge spot pattern/punch is possible?
Can new punches be made or is the only available equipment the punches grandfathered in from before Jim owned the company?
If one can be made, how much would it cost?
If it weren't too expensive to make a new punch, would any Cters be willing to help pay for the punch if it were exclusively for CT use?
And most importantly, would Jim go for this idea?
I've attached a pic of my idea for a custom punch. I don't think it would be too hard to produce (any more so than the 4d14 they make now); the inserts would be standard 1/4" or 1/2", plus there's not so many holes punched out of the base chip as to create extra cracking problems. Also, for people that use casino chips as inspiration for custom chips, this pattern would approximate the Paulson (17 or 18?) pattern.
Given that many ASM spot combos are basically exclusive to CT anyway, am I being greedy to want more? |

I like that first edge spot combination. |

Just another reason (besides the 44mms, mold choices, incredible customer service, etc.) why ASM is my choice for customs. |

I went with 212A instead. | | Thread Tools | Search this Thread | | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
