asm 3 different blues?

i recieved my 21 piece circle square solids of each color available.
i also recieved 2 extra pieces of the hourglass mold.
one of the two hourglass molds i recieved was a blue, which was not either an imperial blue or blue. it was lighter in color the either of those two.
any clues?
the other hourglass i recieved was white, which was the same color as the white circle square. so i dont think it would be a different color blue, based on the mold. ???
thanks.

Care to share a photo/scan?

You should be able to match all the colours to those in the PokerChipFactory:
http://www.chiptalk.net/x-poker-chips-chip-factory.html

If not, there used to be a colour called "Dayglo Blue" that is lighter than Imperial Blue... and if they're going to offer it again, I imagine a lot of CTers will suddenly be making add-ons to their sets... again...

*EDIT* Actually, I do vaguely recall discussion of Day-glo Blue in another thread started by MidnightRose... Quick search revealed this:

These are MidnightRose's (see link above):

Note the VERY light blue in the upper-right corner.

Re: asm 3 different blues?

I had spoken to Jim about bringing back Day Glo Blue when the 44mm chips were announced. He said he could if the order was big enough.

Re: asm 3 different blues?

Cathy told me they used to use that other blue, but stopped some time ago. It would be nice if Jim took it out of retirement.

Yeah its the blue that's used on the Palmas 5RD chip. Its a cool looking blue, no brass flakes as with all DG colors.

Re: asm 3 different blues?

Ah, I love the DG Blue, thanks for the link Jdunford, that's all I felt was missing when I ordered my cash set from ASM, oh well, hopefully Jim will re-instate it, give me an excuse for some add-ons

Re: asm 3 different blues?

I'm all for bringing this color back. I think that is one Hue Asm is missing. If they have to eliminate something to bring the DG Blue out of retirement, I say muck the DG Orange, Imperial blue, or Light Green
