Hot stamp questions

I have had a few personal chips made to trade out to people. Im out at the moment so i need to have some more made. I want to do a hot stamp chip but i do not know how to go about getting some made.

What companies are making custom hot stamped chips?
What kind of cost would i be looking roughly at say about 200 chips?
Do i need to have my artwork in B&W?

Re: Hot stamp questions

I am sure others will have more advice for you but I would say take a look at some of the newer posts with the ASM hourglass hot stamp chips. I have seen a few sets and they all look amazing to me. Oh I really like the hot stamp T Molds ( http://www.holdempokerchips.com/products.asp?cat=62 ) that I have seen also. The T Molds really have some great colors and I love the way they handle and feel. Good luck with whatever you decide.

I don't think HPC will do a custom stamp (I may be wrong though). You will have to buy the tmold blanks or asm hourglass blanks and send them to someone who will stamp them (suckoutking or jsmithjr732 here on chiptalk).

BTW, I think that stamp looks good. I"m not sure about the detail in the palm tree branches but you can ask one of the stampers what they think.

It will work pretty good, the leaves could be made slightly simpler and it would probably work better, but it will work as is. (hopefully it's done in Vector format as it will come out cleaner if it is)

Re: Hot stamp questions

I think BCC has a minimum of 300 chips and $100 for the stamp. Your best bet for that small quantity is to buy the blanks and have Suckout KIng stamp them. I think he said he could get a stamp made for $50.00.

Re: Hot stamp questions

Design looks good. As Kari said the leaves look like the only part that might not come out perfect other than that I like the way the image is spread out. Sending a PM with further details.

Re: Hot stamp questions

That should work better, as far as the letters if you could put a little more space between them it would be better. or use a slightly thinner font. It'll work as is, the letters might just join together a little bit.
