Chips: 78 | | | ASM A-mold question - do they feel more like??? so...i have felt the roman mold and i have felt the hourglass mold. which does the A mold feel more like?
IIRC, the roman felt almost plasticky to me -- if thats a word.
anyone care to give me a good comparison? |

anyone care to give me a good comparison? | I have a similar question for whoever decides to reply. I have samples of H-mold, Horse Head (HHR), Roman (RM), Fleur-de-Lis (FDL), and Hour Glass (HG). I'm curious about the texture. Think of it as "how sand-papery / grippy do the chips feel?" (has to do with depth of texture, roughness, fineness of features, contact area, etc.) I'd like to claim that the order goes ("smoothest" to "roughest") FDL < H < RM < HHR < HG, although it might be slightly subjective. Where does the A-mold fit?
Btw, I find the RM and H feel relatively "plasticy", while the HG, FDL, and HHR feel less so, but again, it might be subjective (and/or depend on colour). |

I looked at my samples again, and I still think that A mold is less grippy than horsehead.
