Chips: 328 | | | Best inexpensive custom ceramic tourney set? I have been considering purchasing a custom ceramic tourney set after not finding a stock set that I like. Is it possible to buy a ceramic chip that stacks well and is inexpensive? I am looking for chips that will stack at least 20 high without sliding around. I also am looking for a chip that won't break the bank.
The sunflys don't cut it for me. I got a sample set of the V7 NJ Desert Sands and they are just too slick. I have a large set of Bellagio smooth replicas and they are also too slick.
Chipcos may be the way to go but they are more than I want to spend. I would like to hold the cost to $.50. Chipcos do stack better, don't they?
Do the the new PI ceramic hybrids stack any better? I have samples coming from Joe.
Maybe what I am looking for doesn't exist. Maybe I am too picky about the stackability. Suggestions will be appreciated. |

Suggestions will be appreciated. | No, youre not being picky re: stackability--- The equinox series IV blanks stack correctly- weve done random tests every month since the very first blanks were brought in-- the hybrids are as accurate as the regular blanks btw
As far as Chipcos stacking better- baloney. I'll put up a thousand dollars cash money against the same if someone wants to order or has 1000 chipcos and 1000 of Sunfly blanks and have a stacking contest.
Have no idea how many chips are stacked here but they survived my partner banging the table right before I took the pic. Whats important is: NO daylight between chips- each chip lies flat against the other.
Honestly though- ANY good ceramic should stack 20 high without any problems-- then again- I have a ton of warped Paulsons here so who knows.
Price and quality dont necessarily mean the same thing

I may have missed it, but PI is the only place I have seen with ceramics for that price. |

I played a game last night for the 1st time, as I just received them and they stacked 25 high without any problems, and could be pushed into the pot without the stacks falling over.
I think they are "GREAT" Chips and for the money can't be beat. I have Chipco samples and I can't tell any difference in the feel of them.
These are my first ceramic's and I will get a custom set hopefully very soon.
I enjoyed these, and so did the other playing, as much as my clay chips.
Just my opinion.. |

Chips: 11 | | | Re: Best inexpensive custom ceramic tourney set? Its like asking for a set of Paulson´s with the budget set for a set of dice chips...its not going to happen.
Your best and ONLY option for $0.50 or under will be SunFly chips. I also don´t understand where this "they dont stack well" came from...was there a bad batch somewhere along the line? I have only heard good things from them...I was rather shocked reading a thread where someone specifically did not want them! | | Thread Tools | Search this Thread | | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
