How many of us have stopped buying chips after we went custom?

I told myself and the spouse that once I went the custom route I wouldn't buy any more chips and surprisingly have stayed the course. So, for those of us that have made that promise did you keep it or have you bought more chips?

Re: How many of us have stopped buying chips after we went custom?

I haven't done customs yet. The Egyptians were my customs... they're not exactly unique anymore. Only my $1's are customs...

Every time I've sworn off buying chips another great set has come up, but the Dunes Commemoratives are my last.

Not married so I answer only to myself.

But I did go through 2 sets of "home" chips (BCC Modern Clays & Paulson NPS) before ordering my ASM customs. I haven't bought any "home" or "fantasy" chips since.....but I've added to my ASMs twice and just ordered another custom set from BCC.

Casino Paulson's come and go, but customs always stay. I'll probably have more casino chips again, but there's something about owning a chip no one else will that really appeals to me.

I got customs but never made such a promise to myself. I voted no anyway.

Re: How many of us have stopped buying chips after we went custom?

I'm with Vince, got the customs but never made any promises. My customs are my tourney set and I then picked up NJ skulls for a interim cash set. Interim until I win some more money for a custom cash set that is.

I got customs... never made any promised (though I thought I'd likely be done) and am now designing and getting ready to order more customs!!!
