I can only comment on some areas you didnt mention...
Mr Chips uses the equinox/Sunfly blank. These blanks are pretty much dead on as far as accuracy and not having any spinners- or very FEW spinners.

The face/edge drop off is different then thr Chipco blank. Chipco prints their faces and leaves a white ring around their face whereby most others print edge to edge. I believe this is done to avoid any bleeding from the face onto the rolling edge- but most other manufacturers can control bleed.

Weight wise- theyre probably all going to fall within .5gm or less of each other.

Otherwise- its going to come down to user preference. Most ceramics sound identical- the material composition is all in the same family so they all should bear a resembelence-- same for shuffling but I am the wrong one to comment on this. I am sure other experienced viewers will shed light on this and your other questions.

Both are excellent products- one being more expensive then the other--

b/c you used the word unbiased in your OP, i feel compelled to point out that palmimports has a financial stake in mrchips ceramics.

...in the interest of full disclosure.

Actually I believe the chipco white ring is designed to visually lessen the impact of wear on the edges as the chips are slightly concave. Might also offset the issue of spots not lining up between the face and rolling edge a bit to.

Re: Mr Chips Ceramics vs. CHIPCO

Some of the newer ceramic blanks are getting closer to chipco. I haven't seen any of the newest blanks from sunfly, but the latest blanks from ABC are top notch.

correct! casino ceramics show the most wear on the edges of the face, so chipco (and B&G also) leave the white rim. Also it became some kind of chipcos brand, if you will. And finally, since chipco only offer non-aligned chips, you don't notice the unalignement that much.
