Chips: 714 | | | Denominations for Home Game set? Should I go with denominations, denominations without dollar/cent symbols, or no denominations for a 5c, 25c, and $1 cash set? |

If you move up in stakes you'll have no use for nickels but the other two will still be useful up to .50/1 NL, and you can make your nickels into $5 then. Or just go no $ sign and it would work the same. |

BigMike´s idea is quite good IMO...taking the 5c as a non-denominated you will be prepared for games with higher stakes also. |

If you're set on having denoms on the inlay, my vote is for no currency sign.

The purist in me says, go with denoms and country appropriate currency symbols; just like the casinos. The practical side says, non-denoms are such more more functional; then again paying $1/chip is probably not practical.
My original cash set had 4 denominated chips and then a non-denom which was designed play as a SB chip (.10/.25/.50).
good luck |

Chips: 714 | | | Re: Denominations for Home Game set? Well since I have a tourney set and a .25/.50 cash set, I'm decided on denoms with symbols.
Unfortunately they're pulling the Roman mold again due to quality issues so I may be waiting for a while... | | Thread Tools | Search this Thread | | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
