I see that you're doing a lot of the same things that I did and trying for somewhat subtle color combinations. Like the grey/imperial blue spots on the white chip. Even both of your red chips are somewhat monochrome. Don't get me wrong, I like that look too.
The grey just doesn't contrast enough and that will probably be strongly discouraged by Sandy when you submit your artwork. Possibly the same with the peach and pink on the red. I know that both Kari and Sandy and JM and others who had previously made customs all told me to steer clear of the monochrome type looks that I was after and shoot for more contrast. They were correct. What little contrast exists on the computerized mock-up is almost completely lost on the actual chips.
I really like your 'baskin robbins' brown chips with the pink spots. That one pops and I've not seen many of that color combination and none with that spot combination in those colors.
Here's a picture of stacks of the actual chips that I've posted the mock-ups of below so you can see what the real thing will look like vs. a mock-up.
A suggestion - keep your various versions of your mock-ups in this thread instead of replacing them each time in the OP. You might find that you want to mix and match versions. At least, that's what happened in my case. Folks would say things like "I really like this new version, but with the pink chip from the original".
