BPT | I disagree, I wish they had more edge spots. As it is now, I think their edge spots are outdated and they need to add a few more. That's what is holding me back in ordering a set from them. I love the H mold but......

Chips: 1,483 | | | Re: ASM edgespots I was considering BCC and ASM for my new custom cash set. BCC has some great options as far as colors/edge spots/inlay size go. The problem is, I like ASM's actual chips better. I have HS BCC customs, and my tourney set of custom ASM's, and the ASM chips are just a nicer feeling chip...by far. So I decided to go with them again on my cash set. |

A bit crisp if you want soft feeling chips, but like buttah once they are broken in a little. Before anyone chimes in about spinners and popped inlays, I've had a total of 8 spinners in my custom set and no inlay has even shown a slight bubble as of yet on my H-molds.
And for me, I love the brass flakes in the clay.
With a set of 2000 custom H-molds with 10 different spot patterns I hate to disagree with Irish and say that I think there are more than enough spot options and colors to have a chip set anyone would envy. I know my buddies absolutely love my customs.

Chips: 1,714 | | | Re: ASM edgespots 4D14 is available to CTers too. You can now get 1" or 1-1/16" (not sure which) inlays on the hourglass mold and 1" and 1-1/16" inlays on the unmolded chips. I prefer BCC's inserts and color selection, but ASM has just enough of each to satisfy me and now that I can get bigger inlays, the idea of having a custom mold lasered on them has pretty much sealed it for me.
I gotta get my t-mold cash set first though. Anyone need a 30 year old kidney, lightly used. |
