Chips: 2,454 | | | Want some feedback on my PNY BCC chips I around 40 chips that I think are a little below standard. Here's a photo with a few I picked randomly. In the upper right is a reference chip.
We waited a long, long time for these. If memory serves at least 6 months.
So, am I too picky?
Warning the image is HUGE!

Chips: 444 | | | Re: Want some feedback on my PNY BCC chips I agree the quality of many of these chips is very poor. A number of mine are similar in quality, and about half have a noticeable white ring around the inlay which bugs me. I also have a number with damaged edges.
There was a lot of talk about poor quality control at BCC and unfortunately I think the quality of these chips proves it. The inlay artwork is great though, and PNYers are my primary cash set at the moment, so I will just live with it.
I certainly think a number justify replacing though and wish you well. |

Chips: 710 | | | Re: Want some feedback on my PNY BCC chips I don't think Mike or Dave Endy would be upset if you asked for replacements at all.
I'd personally ask for them on the badly misaligned inlays, and would be upset if the answer was 'no', but I really think the answer from them would be 'of course we'll replace them'.
They are, after all, reasonable businessmen.

Chips: 407 | | | Re: Want some feedback on my PNY BCC chips if those were mine, i would be very dissatisfied with them.
i would have no problems asking for replacements on the ones that i felt were not represtantive of the quality that i was expecting in the chips.
hope you are able to resolve your dilemma and get what you paid for.
good luck.

Chips: 16 | | | Re: Want some feedback on my PNY BCC chips Nexttime, I voted for replacement, as well.
Given that these are solids, I would have suspected fewer problem chips. I'll be curious to see how your incoming non-denoms compare. I noticed a few bad ones in my two boxes - but I'm personally burnt out from calling BCC right now and can deal with them. Some of these, however, are ridiculous.
Good luck. Please make sure to keep us posted. |

Chips: 516 | | | Re: Want some feedback on my PNY BCC chips With the time I have waited and the money I have given BCC for my customs I am still waiting for, I will call and ask for replacements if only one or two are such poor quality when it comes to the inlay being centered. A little off is no biggie, but some of those are almost off the face of the chip on one side. NO BUENO! They will definitely be hearing from me if any of mine look like that! | | Thread Tools | Search this Thread | | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
