Alright so the time came to order my custom ceramic chips so I sent out 2 orders for some mock ups as well as any other sample packs these 2 companies could provide. I received mock ups from ABC minus the edges within 7 days. I waited another 7 days for the PI's to show up, nothing so I inquired and was told that there was a screw up and they didn't have my shipping address so I sent it again. Waited another 7 days and still no PI chips so I placed my order with Gene at ABC. Not only did I receive superior communication from Gene but he actually did up 1000 custom ceramics for me and had them delivered to me within 6 days. I'm not exagerating here, I placed my order, chips were completed and shipped from California to Canada received at my door this afternoon from Gene at ABC within 6 days. Minutes after the Fed Ex guy left I finally received my original sample pack from PI that I ordered like 3 weeks ago. Needless to say these samples were no where near as good a quality as the ABC custom chips, graphics weren't as clear, they just looked poor in comparison which is odd because I was told from a lot of people on here that PI is the best but reality shows that they weren't even close. I still haven't received the actual mockups from PI, just a sample set of other custom chips, not that it matters now.
Needless to say Gene at ABC went above and beyond and recieves a full 2 thumbs up and all my future business. As everyone likes to hear which supplier is best and why, there's my 2 cents. Not trying to beat down PI but when it comes to customer service and delivery they have some challenges, maybe because they are a bigger company or something who knows but that to me means they should have their processes nailed down even further but Gene at ABC really has his stuff together. Great work Gene at ABC, your the man.

The one time I dealt with Gene at ABC was smoooooooth.
He handled the Kokopelli group buy and I am extremely satisfied with the product.

I recently placed an order with ABC for the outstanding Horseshoe Series replicas, it was shipped on the 29th of June intended for its New Zealand destination and I received them on 3rd of July! Heck, I've posted things domestically that have taken longer to get to where they were going!
Keep up the outstanding work Gene!

I'm just curious how you can openly criticize a sponsor in here with your past record. 
Weren't you the same person who initially reneged on paying another valued member in here ,for work that was done?

Let's not forget that PI is still transitioning to a new facility. I have a feeling Joe made you aware of this and you neglected to include that in your post. Hmmm. |

Not for anything but I asked for samples from PI before I placed my order and they sent me a sample pack and I recieved it 3 days later. When I placed my order Joe told me their running around two weeks now for customs. I know you got great service from Gene bc well Gene is the man and has great customer service, but I've had nothing but good expierence's with PI also.

WOW that takes some major balls to short the artist who helped create your chips & then post about ordering them. No wonder Snow has been disgruntled about helping with chip designs in the past. Sh!t like this hurts the entire community - I know it won't happen but a ban is in order - this is the same concept as not shipping items that are paid for in M2M in my opinion. Snow was awfully nice in giving you the artwork to begin with if you didn't pay him in full
Oh and for th record both ABC and PI are great to deal with. I have dealt with both and had stellar transactions Quote:
