With the new Palm solids coming in I've got a decision to make for the labels - the Palm textured labels, already applied for 12¢ or PersonalPokerChips smooth labels which I'll have to apply for <6¢. I have a Palm sample set so I'm familiar with those, but other than a few rather small photos on his website, I can't tell much about Jason's (PPC) labels.
Can anyone who has both please give a brief comparison (especially if they have them on Palm clay chips)?
If you are careful, you can use an xacto knife on one of the PI samples and remove the textured polycarbanate(sp) layer, leaving just the label (similar to what you''ld get from Jason).
What PI samples did you get? The ones I received had the shiny label on one side and the textured poly label on the other.
The sample set I received had 7 solid chips and 7 edge spotted. One of each had a textured label on both sides and one of each had a smooth label on both sides. I prefer the textured ones.
I guess basically I'm looking for some comparison of PPC and PI in term of look, feel, and quality. If PPC is comparable on each level, I can't see shelling out an extra $200.
