ASM Hotstamp Options
I'm seriously considering getting a hotstamped ASM cash set. From their website it looks like only the American mold can be hotstamped. That's fine; I really like it. Can you only get 312 edgespots on ASM hotstamped chips or are there other options available? I'm interested in getting 214, 314 and 414 edgespots. Anyone know if I can do this and still get 'em hotstamped? Thanks.

Not sure about the mold, but I'm pretty sure that you can only get those edgespots with a custom inlay. I believe that is for security reasons.

I remember Jamby was going to get her hotstamps with a Roman mold, but that latter changed. I would give them a call, and tell them you're a CT member.

Cathy confirmed via email today that only the 312 edgespot is available for hot stamping and that the other edgespots are for custom chips. I guess I'll just have to order a custom set to get those edgespots I want...shucks!

Order blanks from them and send them over to BCC for hot stamping... You can even get a custom hotstamp that way.

or wait, will they do different edgespots on blanks? dunno, probably not though.

Did she mention other molds available for hotstamping? I've heard rumours about Roman and HHR mold hotstamps...

My impression is that they only do 312 edgespots on blanks. I'm really only interested in getting denoms hotstamped, so BCC will do that on ASM HH blanks (I'm getting 400 from the GB that MattL is running)? A custom hotstamp would be cool, but not something I'm looking for....yet.
