I see trouble brewing

Until i actually see the chips I cant be certain- but- I JUST got an email from one of the factories overseas- and they are offering clay chips.
Nothing new about that but.. the images I am seeing appear to be a total knockoff of the Paulson chip- the THC
Its real hard to tell from the picture- I'll go see if I can snag the image and post it here
I'll try and get a pic posted in a moment

Hard to tell but they SURE look like the THC mold..

Re: I see trouble brewing

those are the Protege's designed by a member of CT and made through Sidepot in the big Protege contest. If this isnt a joke (and you got me if it is) and some Chinese manufacturer is making those chips then all hell is going to break loose.

sidepot's going to lose their mind, the members that paid good $$$ and have been waiting for months and months will lose their minds, and the threads about it should be hilarious.

just wanted to get in on this early. I can't wait to see everyone elses responses.

oh and btw...the mold is the infamous cigar and snifter mold, which is a pretty obvious rippoff of the TH&C, but different enough (and not that bad looking) that BCC has been making chips on it for a year or so. I think that almost all of the cigar and snifter mold chips are sold through sidepot. ok back to the impending madness.....

No joke here- they DO have some new chips I am interested in- but these are FOR SALE in addition to what appears to be the nexgens- or a REAL close knockoff of them--

I'm not really hi end chip saavy so I just mentioned they look alot like Paulsons- wasnt sure which ones though

Ive been trying for months to get a chinese company to STOP selling Jim's Nevada Jack copies- but its real difficult-

Definitely a direct copy of Protégé’s on the Cigar & Snifter mold.

I deleted my comment but the fact remains....you are a mod and the thread you started was 100% tasteless. I have sat back without commenting watching this all unfold but being a mod you should not pour gas on the fire.

Must have been one BIG contest for China to take notice- someone HAD to send them either the artwork or the chips - unless they found the image and used it.

Sometimes they will post pics and see if theres an interest from buyers THEN make the chips- but its rare- usually if its on their site- you can order em.

Hmmm I'm STILL up as a paid sponser-- maybe there's STILL time for a NEW GB????

Ok- that was bad
real bad
funny
but bad

but this post isnt a joke-
go to: alibaba.com and do a search for: ceramic poker chips
I think the third company down with a ceramic chip is the site- I'll get the link posted in a few
