Hey all,

Does anyone know if special chiptalk prices are still in effect at PC.com ? When I did my last supplemental order we were getting 414,314,312 for $1 and 3D14s, 4a14 for $1.25.

Just received my second order 2 weeks ago - no special prices were in effect. 4D14's and 614, 6a14's were $1.45...My first order they were $1.25.

Love the look and spot combos of the ASM's but ouch, almost $1.50 a chip is too high for me. I'm going to spend my money on a nice set of Sin City Showdown Paulsons at the same price.

Have they ever run a special where they came down in their price? When they offered all those extra spot options, did the prices remain the same?

Even large group buys can get down below $1 a chip, but it seems this is not possible with ASM, even when you buy over a few thousand?

I have not seen there prices below $1 a chip for edgespot chips, but when they ran the last GB they were cheaper then they are now on there website. I was hoping that they would open up some more options for us by now. I have not finished up my set, but I am still waiting hopefully it will happen soon.

Well remember that paulson's are made in mexico where they probably pay about a dollar an hour to their workers. ASMs on the other hand are made in the US and Canada with hand aligned inlays oriented to your specifications. Something unavailable from paulson. Not to mention, I haven't seen any reports of warped ASMs.

There is a price break when you get over 1000 chips and then another above that, but I don't remember the details offhand.

they are made in Canada? does that mean I can get them shipped from within Canada and avoid customs?

Actually, I believe they can do that! Seems to me a couple of CTers have done this.

oh, man! that is amazing! my bank account is going to hate you if this is true, the customs is pretty much the only reason I haven't got them already!!!!!!!!!!
