I support the ChipTalk Creativity Canon in order to promote creativity in the design of poker chip artwork intended for use on a custom poker chip, plaque or other gaming related items.

Chip design artwork should be original in design, concept and implementation. Presentation and support of chip design artwork should embody promotion of original design whether as a collective effort of others or as a single effort by the designer. By joining the "Creativity Alliance" I am accepting the ChipTalk Creativity Canon.

I subscribe to the following guidelines regarding the design of poker chip artwork intended for use on a custom poker chip, plaque or other gaming related items.

Chip design artwork should be original in design, concept and implementation and should not represent usage of preexisting artwork whether personal or commercial in nature.

Presentation and support of chip design artwork should embody promotion of original design whether as a collective effort of others or as a single effort by the designer.

.... This Poll is to decide on the tone and substance of the Canon. I understand that further discussion will take place on actually verbiage and even the Title of the Canon.

I voted for the first option since they say about the same thing to me. I think it would be good for CT with this non offensive version though.

How ever after reading all the posts in the other thread I am certain that originallity shall be praised in every comunity addressing chips issues.

With all the talent and creativity around this place I am sure we are heading for a year with pleanty of brilijant new chip designs to admire.

I voted #1 because I think the push should be more "be creative" than just "don't copy".

Stay positive.
You didn't want teeth (enforcement) for infringements, so why even mention the negative?
A warning without a threat of repercussions will be ignored.

One sentence that says something simple. Followed by the names of the people who state they agree. I'm not saying this is the perfect way to say it, just throwing out an idea.

#1 has the lead right now, and I am going to "go the positive route." I'll leave the poll open, but please don't come back and cry foul... I am choosing #1.

I want to post the Canon because people are already joining the Alliance. I don't want to change the Canon after people join...
