Chips: 64 | | | Re: Explain it to me like I'm 5: BCC vs. ASM Sorry, can't answer this. The only BCCs I have are in any quantity are the shell/flame mold. BCC customs for home use are (I think) restricted to this mold. |

Remember ASM gives you free art support (as well as options of alternate obverse art at no extra charge). BCC has more spots but I might say ASM does a better job with what they offer. Also the lead time for BCC is not seeming as quick as advertised.
I think the quantitative things are pretty close between the two, but there's much room on some of the subjective. The chips feel and sound different.
You're going to have to do some heavy lifting here and check out the old threads about custom jobs, though at this point there are very many BCC jobs to compare. |

It's been a while since I was five, but I am guessing something like that. |

You're going to have to do some heavy lifting here and check out the old threads about custom jobs, though at this point there are very many BCC jobs to compare. | I'm basing my pricing on:
ASM: $1.45 x 500 + free art = $725
BCC: $0.85 x 500 + $150 art = $575
I'm holding a few BCC (samurais) and a few sample ASMs, and to me, the difference is negligable.
I've lifted my nuts off, and this thread seems the most comprehensive and recent: http://www.chiptalk.net/forum/custom...cc+mold+design
Really torn...hate the flames...love the 3U edge spot...dig the H mold...don't want to wait 6 months... |

ASM rocks as long as you dont mind waiting for a pretty long time
