ASM Extra Edgespot Options

ASM sometimes has overruns on their chip configurations (extra chips ready for inlay and mold press). If you call them and ask what is available, they will let you know what extra options they have available. I didn't want to post this until Jamby had made her decision about which options she was going to choose. I'm not sure if any of these options are still available, but these were the options Jamby didn't choose. If you are looking at customs, definatelly check with them.

black 4D14 dayglow pink / dayglow green
chocolate 4D14 dayglow peach / black
yellow 6A14 chocolate / dayglow peach
mandarin red 6A14 white / dayglow orange - not recommended as man. red and dg orange have very low contrast
yellow 614 chocolate.

I don't know which of these options is still available if any, but if you call them they will let you know.

Even though I haven't asked about other options, from what I understand, they only have six edge spots available at this time. The rest are only thru group buys.

True - but those that Kari has posted are the over-runs available.

For those interested, here's what the over-runs look like from Chip Factory.

Kari - regarding the mandarin red - I couldn't find a dg orange option. Is orange the actual color for that one?

Those chocolate/DG Peach/Black are hawt! I wonder who could have gone with that combo?

They're fixed options per Kari's opening post of over-run chips made for others that they have available. No variation is allowed on the colors or inserts, but you can get whatever mold you want because they haven't yet been molded.

No GBs at this time and from what I understand there probably isn't going to be another as I have heard tell that the last was pretty difficult to manage. At least that's what I've been told.

I wound up incorporating 7 different over-run chips into my cash and tourney sets that Kari is now designing.

Did you find any DG orange option? I'd kind of like to see it mocked-up with a brighter orange. Might be able to incorporate yet another fantasy insert option into The Bear Den chipset.

The email from Glenda said they didn't recommend it and the person who ordered it has posted pics of it and said it was hard to see the edgespot. It's on the chipforge.
