He's a stand-up guy and we talked for 20 minutes about hotstamps and their chip business. He said he'd never seen this kind of problem before and they have casinos with tens-of-thousands of their hotstamp chips in play, but he finally did admit that there was an obvious problem and that chips from the first batch kept making their way back into my shipments...
In any case, my order is now complete (I ended up with a few extras, even) and all the hotstamps are hard and good. They sent me back my hotstamp die, and although Dave said that he couldn't promise they'd make any more chips with my die, he'd try to work with me in the event that I might want more chips in the future.
The moral of this story: examine your BCC custom hotstamps thoroughly and if they there is a problem, remind Dave of my order and hopefully you can get things fixed without the run around. |

Nothing beats actually talking to someone with whom you are having conflict. Once you are actually speaking, it often turns out that you are much closer to resolution than might have appeared via the written word.
Well done for sticking with it.

Well done for sticking with it. | Not to mention Dave Endy being one of the owners of this company and auctualy being able to have a conversation with him is unheard of in most businesses these days... I too am glad to see resoultion to this issue. I plan to place an order of BCC hotstamp chips soon so this is great news... |
