Chips: 237 | | | BCC Custom w/o denominations? I'm getting really close to finishing my design for some custom chips...after over a year of churning out ideas. I prefer to go with the BCC because of the inlay and edge spot options, although I prefer the ASM horsehead mold over the flame mold. So, anyways, now I have to consider the cost of getting these babies made.
By not having denominations on the chips, I can save some cash, which makes it a little easier to move forward. The thing I'm not sure about is that I have always planned on using unconventional color choices for the set, which would seem to make it confusing. I don't want to keep reminding people what chip is what, it'll just take away from the game. Is this really an issue or am I nuts?
I realize that not having denoms adds some versatility to the set, which I like. Still, those values seem to add some legitamacy to a chip in my mind.
Enough of my rambling. Your thoughts are appreciated.
Thanks! |

You could always stay with no denoms and get a Chip Tree and list the chip values on that.

Recently hosted a game at my place, and a friend brought over his new set, which is non-denom and non-traditional colors. There was NO need to keep reminding people what was what. |

From my experience (and may i say for others on this board) that some people ask you repeatedly even with denoms |
