I called the fine folks at pokerchips.com (they spoke pretty highly of this site) about ordering some custom asm's. Ive got an idea, but dont know the best wat to get it into a form that they can use. Top of the chip says McCartys Card Room and the bottom says -Est. 2007- for the middle I was thinking about using an old english or some type of script looking font with an M or Mc and the denomination layed over it. Do you think this would look ok, dont want it to look cheap and cluttered, but more of a neat and classy? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
You can download a free 30 day trial version of Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator from adobe.com. That's how I did my artwork, mocked it up in photoshop then moved over to do the finished product in illustrator. 30 days was just enough time to figure out what I was doing and get it done.
Sounds reasonable, You might look through the custom chip gallery thread to get some ideas too. lots of people on this site are very helpful and will give you great advice on your designs as you go.
Good Luck
