Chips: 49 | | | Curious as to response time from BC I sent an email last week to BC, received a reply a few days later as to cost and that they'd be sending an invoice...it's been 4 days and no more info. I had replied immediately to make sure my order included the heavier weight chips...nada so far. I realize that my little order is nothing...I'm more of a nuisance I imagine. Not upset, just wondering what other folks experienced/how long it takes to hear back. I know they're flooded with those Protege chips and casino work so i don't expect them to jump at my beckoned call. Just curious is all.

I recieve an email today from Dave telling me to send again the artwork for the inlays again, the desing department can't open the files.
I explicity asked by phone to Dave if I can send Corel files for the artwork, he told me that It was ok. Now he's telling me that it should be sent in Illustrator or Photoshop files (Programs I don't have). The issue is I sent my artwork files 3 weeks from now. I've seen all my CT fellows already receiving their artwork approvals and I should wait I don't know how longer to get this done . The only way I recieve emails from them is after I call them. By the way Mike and Dave are great people to deal with, I guess they should have a lot orders on the way.
Bottom Line. I'm not happy with this delay but I guess my chips worth it. |

Chips: 1,697 | | | Re: Curious as to response time from BC It's been all over the place for me. I've had 'em respond the same day and some times a week or more. I'm not that pressed though all things considered. I changed spot patterns on 'em a half a dozen time so I think fairs fair as far as putting up with my nonsense.
I did send a .jpg for approval but hadn't heard anything back so I figured I go ahead and send the .eps file since that's what they'd end up needing. |

They were both always helpful and never seemed put off with my questions. If something needed to be sent in writing, they'd tell me (which saved a lot of waiting for e-mail replies). |

Chips: 31 | | | Re: Curious as to response time from BC I had a few snafus and a couple of delays getting to the proof approval. I just think its them working out the kinks of dealing with the huddled masses, and lots of smallish orders all at once. I think its the nature of the beast. ASM had some long delays when they offered more edge spots etc. etc. I'm personally in no rush, email sometimes takes a bit of time, but if you ever need more immediate response, call.

I've gotten pretty rapid responses on most of my emails. Anything I needed critical info on I've called. When Mike or Dave haven't been there and I've left a message, I've always gotten a call back within a couple of days. |

That being said, they don't respond to emails as fast as chip junkies need. So the best thing to do is call them straight up. They have never missed my calls. | | Thread Tools | Search this Thread | | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
