Can I get some other people to test the inlay part of the tool out. I use it on two computers with two different browsers and it all works great. None of the development code is on the second computer at all. Jamby says he can not get it to work. I do not see what the issue is. Since I can not duplicate it. Even posting screen shots of the process you use to get the error would help because I can not duplicate the error.

Thanks for any help!

Inlay section works just fine on IE7 on XP SP2.

Some trouble on Firefox 2.0 on XP2 SP2, related to the user input fields (Save Set Names), just that the blinking cursor disappears, no way to tell which part of your url the cursor is sitting. In my case, I had to work from the end and backspace over the filenames to make changes. I use Adblock and NoScript plugins for FireFox, but I allowed chiptalk.net on the exceptions lists. I don't know if they are part of the issue. Otherwise, works fine.

HOWEVER, I cannot get "View All" to work at all, on either browser. I get a new popup window with the green suited backdrop, but no chip imagery whatsoever. Save to JPEG does not work for me either; the image ends up being saved as a blank, white image, no graphics or outline whatsoever.

Hope this helps.

P.S. - Can you please, please, PLEASE at the 3T16 spot pattern?

The Save to JPEG will not work if you have an inlay on the chip. I will check on the viewall but last time I tried it works. Do you have an example of 3T16? I do not recall that pattern.

Whoops, I meant to say 3T18.

From the Endys:
3T18 (3 x triple 1/8 inch spot – 2 or 3 colors)

It appears you have the 4T18 in Chip Factory as "Paulson 30".
4T18 (4 x triple 1/8 inch spot – 2 or 3 colors)

Here's the example from my BCC proof:

Would the inlays also prevent the "view all" from working? Just grasping at straws, I can't tell why it wont show my stuff.

If you could figure out a way to export to JPG with an Inlay, that would be stupendous!!!! Thanks so much for your work on this tool - it's really a comfort to some of us in our long wait for our chips.....

Re: ChipTalk Chip Factory Update!

All the spots are coming. It is a lot of work and Johnny5 (The graphic guru) is the one who is working on it and he is always a busy man. The view all works with inlays. I will try and post some samples later.

I believe the BCC 3T18 is actually 3T16 in reality anyway, right?

X and I are still working on it, but the tool should be updated with pretty much every spot ever made very shortly!
