I needed only 6 replaced, but it took about 2-3 weeks to get mine back.

Timeline:

5/13/07: Initial contact w/ BCC.

5/24/07: Color submissions

6/26/07: First proofs

7/03/07: 2nd proofs

7/14/07: Deposit made

7/26/07: Final proofs received and ok’d.

9/26/07: Inlays done.Chips 3-4 weeks out per Dave.

The process could have been quicker, and the delays that occurred were mostly on our end. We took our sweet time trying to dial everything in as best we could. Dave was kind enough to whip up a couple prototypes in an effort to aid our decision making process. It was great to hold them in hand and compare, and made it much easier to make the correct decision.

Wow. 3-4 weeks wait for new chips. It's been that long for replacement chips and still no word on if they have even started to make them. I'm impressed, would love to know how to get a fast turn around.

Why do you start counting before you get the proofs? Doesn't the clock start when you get the proof? I changed my mind so much with the artwork, but that isn't BCC's fault...

Anyone else think something sick, like an 8V pattern is going to show up in that blocked out section where the 5k chip should be???

Because I submitted my art when I paid, which was 8 months ago.

Are you saying it took 8 months to receive your proof, or you approved your proof 8 months ago?

Great guess!

*sigh*

...Dont I wish! Pretty sure that Strange has that one cornered. These chips will most definitely be on the Flame mold.

(and thats a big negative on the 8V as well, ghostrider. Its is yet another "dont I wish" though! )

Here's another "I wish" guess for the 5k.....
