Chips: 1,226 | | | Re: Who makes the best custom ceramics? ASSISTANCE PLEASE I only went with the textured finish for the Kokos so that they will better match my existing BR-PRO chipset.
I think that textured is more like sand and thus desert and all things Kokopelli too. Quote: |

Chips: 280 | | | Re: Who makes the best custom ceramics? ASSISTANCE PLEASE The centering seems pretty darn good. I ordered 1000+, and of the ones I've seen/handled/played with, they look great. I have noticed some minor variations, but none to the extent you mention. I've been preoccupied with other stuff, but I intend to post pics in the next week or two. I received the chips Dec 23 and feel bad for not posting Pr0n.
I worked with Johhny5 as the artist and went with Dave at HomepokerChips.com. All-in-all a first rate experience. When I opened the shipping box, 3 of the Chipco racks were broken on the end and Dave got replacements to me right away. When it was all said and done, my order came to around $1.42 / chip. |

Dont ask meto explain it or rationalize it- its just what weve discovered.
Chiplab sends us PDF files for final print- theyve been working out pretty good-- but unless you can sit in front of alot of printed chips done from a jpg- AI/EPS file etc its hard to explain- what looks good can look stunning given the right artwork.
Also- AI files- we work in Adobe 1998 and then when we assign a profile to it required for printing ceramics- there's some slight color shifting that will take place-

Additionally, I have to agree with everyone that's said that although aligned edges on a ceramic can be fun, it's not an essential feature for them ... if you want aligned "edge spots", just get clay chips ... and if a large graphic is what you want, get an oversized inlay on them. |

Like HomePokerChips has their defined palette with color wheel samples, so you can accurately pick and choose colors ... for that reason alone, I'm heavily leaning towards them for my custom Chipco set. |

Chips: 14,841 | | | Re: Who makes the best custom ceramics? ASSISTANCE PLEASE You should use an AI file (vector artwork) for ANY chip artwork you submit IMO. I used it for my Casino Antarctica chips from ASM and for these fundraising chips from ABC and the results were just perfect.

If you send me an image with YOUR red we would change it to the red closest to the color chart- but its impossible to guarantee YOUR red will print exactly as you see it on your screen.
I think thats what chipco does
