Buttons PI or ABC

whataboutj and I are going in on the extra Winternight chips that Bernd had made through Sun-Fly. We are going to have dealer buttons made for these sets and wanted to see what everyone thought of the options on dealer buttons from PI, ABC & Nevada Jacks. I am adding a poll. I would love feedback and comments from anyone...

~Thanks All

EDIT: Here is the artwork. Does this change anyones thougths??

Re: Buttons PI or ABC

Those do look nice JHickle. Are those the same ones that were reviewed? Do they bulge in the middle a little bit (Kinda like me ) and have a cork bottom? Does the cork affect it sliding across the table at all?
Thanx for all your input

Re: Buttons PI or ABC

The PI & NJ buttons are actually identical.

ABC: 3.5", Glossy finish, Black edge.
- High quality graphics but they are quite large and heavy - more of a 'coaster' really. They come with a layer of cork (separate) than can be applied to the bottom or not

PI/NJ: Just under 2", Matte finish, White edge.
- Lower quality (but decent) graphics though their smaller size and weight is more inline with a standard button

Dude - what happened to: "I like the looks of the Elite Poker Tour but don't want to copy"?? TOC chips/buttons and all! You could've at least used different colors or something, damn!

May I ask who you got to cop... er design them for you Jim?

Johnny5 - I really think you need to compare a little closer before slammin something/someone.
Yes I did somewhat copy Elite's design on the back side of TOC chips, but the only two that somewhat match in color happen to be the Participant and FT. All others are of different color and have a different purpose.
I don't think the buttons are anywhere close to being copies. The design is my own and being used as TOC trophies while Elite's are dealer buttons.
Oh....and by the way, austin5string did the technical side of the design and I worked with him for several months to get to the final design.
I made my 100 chip gray/black and put the denom on the rolling edge....does that make me a copycat?

Yes(and I do to). Don't really see how they could be used as coaster as I don't think a glass/cup would be very steady sitting on it. Perfect for my use as Trophies. May even mount on wooden plaque w/brass namplate so they can be hung on wall.
The cork is supplied but not applied. The back is unfinished and didn't seem to slide very easily (at least on my velveteen playing surface). I think if they were going to be used as dealer buttons, I would cut up some Jokers or some other extra card from a deck of Kems or Copaq and glue it to the underside. It would then be like ice on the table.
