I run mainly tourneys and I think I will be going with the EPT Replicas for the tourney. However when we get to the final table and its time to chip up to the 10k chips and the 25k chips (25kchips are rare), I want them to be noticably different from the normal ones just so as to give a wow factor. Origionally I wanted to do 43mm chips however I cant find anywhere that does them at the moment. Joe at PI will offer them in the future but not till the summer. I also considered plaques but the high price really puts them out of my reach.
So then I though why not just use some chips from the WSOP design for the higher denominations, for instance, why not make the lavender 5kchip into a 25kchip and the Brown 50k chip into a 10k chip (those two chips are my two favourite chips). However I dont know how this would look. Would it just look wrong and as if I'm too cheep to buy the higher denom EPT's (which I wouldn't be considering I'd be paying much more for alligned edge spots on the WSOP's) or do you think it would look cool?
